Grilled Pineapple

1 pineapple, peel removed, and sliced into 1/3”-1/2” thick slices
¼ c. balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp. olive oil
Sprinkle of salt and crushed black pepper, optional


  1. Slice pineapple and place on foil lined cookie sheet.
  2. Mix vinegar, olive oil and spices and drizzle on pineapple.
  3. Allow to marinate for about 30 minutes.
  4. Grill on medium heat (400-435), turning about every 4 minutes until soft, and grill marks are pronounced.
  5. *Serve this for dessert with other seasonal fresh fruit, if desired.
