Join us for “Every Child Deserves a Welcome Home” and learn how you can do a mitzvah for Jewish foster children in need in the Cleveland Jewish community.

Jeffrey Lox, Executive Director at Bellefaire JCB, and Kim Karl, Director of Specialty Services at Bellefaire JCB, joins us to discuss opportunities to help Jewish foster children by becoming a foster family, becoming a mentor through Jewish Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and advocating for foster kids and the organizations that help them.

We hope you’ll join us.

ABOUT JEFFREY LOX:
Jeffrey Lox is Executive Director of Bellefaire JCB, and is responsible for operations of the program divisions of the agency. Mr. Lox has worked with adolescents and their families for over 25 years as a clinician, a supervisor, an administrator and a trainer. He has served as the chair of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Mental Health Disaster Team and the chair of the Federation’s IDF subcommittee: Mental Health Workgroup. Mr. Lox holds a Master’s Degree in Social Service Administration with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Miami University.

ABOUT KIM KARL:
Kim Karl is Director of Specialty Services at Bellefaire JCB. In this senior management role, Ms. Karl serves as the Division Director for Specialty Services, including the Jewish Big Brother Big Sister mentoring program, Jewish Day Nursery (JDN) Early Childhood Education Center, and Bellefaire’s Jewish Day School counseling program. Ms. Karl has been providing treatment and supervising community base programs in Northeast Ohio since 1995. Ms. Karl received a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from University of Arizona with a double minor in Psychology and Family Studies. She received her MSSA from Case Western Reserve University, Mandel School of Applied Social Science.
