Event Details

Description

Celebrated photographer and professor Daniel Levin captured an intimate portrait of Amnon Weinstein during the Violins of Hope project as he lovingly restored violins played by Jews in the Holocaust, reclaiming the memory of those who perished. Levin revisits the experience of photographing Amnon’s studio and how his own identity as a Jewish American artist is represented in the photography of an Israeli master luthier (violinmaker,) in addition to his other works from around the world.

Presented in partnership with the Jewish Federation’s Cleveland Israel Arts Connection.

Cost: $5-$10
