Our enthusiasm and passion to make a difference in our communities can sometimes occur at the expense of navigating our own well-being and balance. Too often, we treat volunteering as a sprint rather than a marathon. As a result, we lose steam long before our work is done.

Join us for an interactive workshop led by Amanda Silver, a consultant, coach, and trainer, where we will explore our own energy levels and our relationship to urgency in our work and volunteerism. You will leave with a personal action plan to create greater sustainability for a lifetime of leadership.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
As a trainer, coach and consultant, Amanda Silver brings over 16 years of experience in developing the effectiveness of non-profit leaders and organizations to her work. She draws on mindfulness, emotional-intelligence, and strength-based approaches to leadership and organizational development. Amanda has facilitated leadership and strategic planning initiatives in a variety of contexts, including higher education institutions, social service agencies, faith-based institutions and more.
