Thank You for Strengthening Our Community,
One Call at a Time!
Thanks to the generosity of 2,851 donors and almost 500 volunteers, this year's Super Sunday raised $1,240,817 in support of the 2010 Campaign for Jewish Needs. Because of you, these funds will help feed the hungry, educate the young, care for the elderly, comfort the sick, rescue the oppressed, counsel the troubled and provide vital assistance to our most vulnerable community members. Thank you!Read more and see photos.
Volunteers perform the highest mitzvah in preparing for the New Year
Approximately 100 volunteers gathered at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery on Sunday, September 13, to help prepare the cemetery ready for High Holiday visitors. Chesed Shel Emeth was established in 1904 to provide burials for Jews who could not afford a proper burial. It still serves the same purpose today with the support of the Jewish Community Federation and the community.
