The Federation's overseas programs and activities create “living” bridges between Jews in Cleveland and Jews around the world. A global community has been transformed into a tightly knit, cohesive family through programs that offer unique opportunities for direct and personal connections to individuals and organizations in Israel, the former Soviet Union, and other locations around the world.


Partnership 2000 (P2K)
The P2K program was launched in 1995 to build people-to-people connections between Jews in Cleveland and our partnership region, Beit Shean, in northern Israel. Learn more.

NEW PROGRAM - Bridge to the Future (BTF)
Bridge to the Future (BTF), a not-for-profit organization, is working in partnership with Cleveland's P2K staff and programs in the Beit Shean region to organize and integrate community resources and existing foundations to affect long-term sustainable growth for the community.

Parents and Children Together (PACT)
PACT enables over 10,000 Ethiopian-Israeli youngsters and their families, perhaps the most disadvantaged group in Israel, to benefit from enhanced educational and healthcare opportunities. Learn more.

Programs with the Education Corps of the Israel Defense Forces
Cleveland's partnership with the Israel Defense Forces has bettered the lives of more than 9,000 disadvantaged soldiers at the Havat HaShomer army base through a program of computer training, health and self-esteem empowerment, and educational and vocational preparation. Learn more.

Israel Health Advancement for Women (ISHA)
Combining medical studies and cultural awareness, the Federation-sponsored ISHA program is a dynamic model for change that emphasizes the need for health care and health promotion for women in Israel. Learn more.

Jordan/Cross-Border Initiative
The Jordan Cross-Border Initiative began in 2002 to support cooperation between the people of Israel and Jordan via Cleveland's partnership city of Beit Shean, on the border of Israel, contiguous to Jordan. Learn more.

Atidim (Futures through Equal Educational Opportunity))
Targeting students ages 23-30, Atidim is designed to build a better, stronger Israel by enabling capable and talented young people from underprivileged communities to acquire higher education in order to share in Israel's growth. Learn more.


St. Petersburg Partnership
Cleveland's partnership with the Jewish community of St. Petersburg, Russia, has helped renew Jewish life by assisting in the creation of an organized, vibrant and self-sufficient Diaspora Jewish community.
