WATCH: From India to Israel: Jewish Federation of Cleveland Joins Operation Wings of Dawn
Cleveland Federation leadership recently took part in a historic and deeply moving mission during project “Wings of Dawn,” a joint delegation with the Jewish Agency for Israel, World Zionist Organization, Keren Hayesod UIA, and Jewish Federations of North America, united by a shared commitment to Jewish communities around the world.
Delegates met the Bnei Menashe community of northeastern India - families who have preserved their Jewish identity, traditions, and dream of reaching Israel for generations - and accompanied them on their journey to Israel, where 600 new olim were reunited with loved ones after many years apart.
As these families begin their new lives in Israel, this mission is a powerful reminder of the enduring bond between the Jewish people and Israel.
