An evening of inspiration!

Last night, more than 500 people filled the room and tuned in via Live Stream for the 113th Annual Meeting of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, where we honored Michael Siegal as this year's Charles Eisenman Award recipient, our highest civic honor.

During his inspirational acceptance speech that garnered a standing ovation, Michael said, "We have to respect and not judge each other. We have to make sure we care for those who have no voice. That's what Federation does best. That's what your donation does, cares for those who have no voice." Watch a video about his accomplishments below.

It was a privilege to welcome Keynote Speaker Dr. Ronald J. Clark, formerly of the Department of Homeland Security and a retired U.S. Marine, who joined us to discuss an important issue on all of our minds: Security. "We are in a time when security is a necessity," he said. "You have helped open doors at high levels, built connections, focused on training, and enhanced controls. What you're doing in Cleveland is to be commended."

Special thanks to Gary L. Gross, Board Chair, and Carmie and Todd Stein, Event Chairs. And, thank you to all of our guests who joined us to celebrate 113 years of Jewish Cleveland pride!
