WATCH: Expanding the Camp Wise Experience for Israeli Teens
In the summer of 2024, teens from Kibbutz Kissufim, Federation's partner community in the Gaza Envelope, traveled to Cleveland and spent four weeks at Camp Wise.
After a successful summer, our community stepped up again and raised the dollars to be able to bring even more teens from Kissufim to Camp Wise in 2025. "We learned that they needed some time away and it's just really been a win-win for everyone," said Jared S. Miller, chair of our Kibbutz Kissufim partnership.
In 2025, 15 Israeli campers joined bunks of all ages; this gave the American campers a bigger opportunity to fully understand what life is like for teens in Israel.
