Nisenboum to Receive Wolf Young Campaigner of the Year Award

Special Menorah Lighting to Celebrate Sixth Night of Chanukah

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland will host its Campaign Closing Event for this year’s annual Campaign for Jewish Needs on Wednesday, December 13 at 7:00 pm. The entire community is invited to attend this event, which will be held at the Mandel JCC Stonehill Auditorium (26001 S. Woodland Road in Beachwood).

“This is a unique time in Jewish Cleveland and the Jewish world – and once again our community has stepped up to the challenge,” said Beth Wain Brandon, general Campaign chair. “In the aftermath of the October 7 attacks in Israel, it is critical that we do everything we can to ensure our Jewish community remains safe, strong, and growing so that we can continue to respond quickly when tragedy strikes. Our Campaign Closing Event will be an opportunity for us to recognize what we’ve accomplished during our three-month Campaign thanks to our tireless volunteers and dedicated donors.”

The community will also recognize Jonathon Nisenboum as he receives the 2023 Amb. Milton A. and Roslyn Z. Wolf Young Campaigner of the Year Award. The award recognizes leadership, dedication, and hard work by a young leader on behalf of the Campaign for Jewish Needs.

The event will also celebrate the sixth night of Chanukah with a menorah lighting.

Last year’s Campaign raised $34,870,821 from 12,178 donors representing 8,890 gifts.
