The Jewish Federation of Cleveland will host its 121st Annual Meeting from 7:30 to 9 p.m. May 13 at Park Synagogue at 27500 Shaker Blvd. in Pepper Pike.

It serves as an opportunity for the community to come together to look at the accomplishments of the Jewish Federation and Jewish community over the past 12 months, Alan Rosskamm, event co-chair with his wife, Barbara, told the Cleveland Jewish News.

“It’s intended to be informative and celebratory at the same time,” he said.

The meeting will feature Haviv Rettig Gur, senior analyst of The Times of Israel and the host of the “Ask Haviv Anything” podcast, who will bring “a timely and thought-provoking perspective to current affairs in Israel and the Middle East,” Rosskamm, a resident of Gates Mills, said.

Daniel N. Zelman, outgoing Federation board chair, will also deliver remarks. He previously served as chair of the Jewish Family Service Association board of trustees and serves on several committees and boards including the Maltz Museum.

“Our community is truly fortunate to have had Dan Zelman’s leadership of the Federation board over the past three years,” Rosskamm, a congregant of B’nai Jeshurun Congregation in Pepper Pike, said. “Dan is an exceptional leader and has been an effective, longtime community advocate in many ways. We’re particularly fortunate to have had his leadership during this very trying time of trauma in Israel and rising antisemitism in the United States.”

The evening will include the presentation of the 2025 Charles Eisenman Award for Exceptional Civic Contributions presented to Mt. Sinai Health Foundation, the election of Federation trustees and a kosher dessert reception.
