Jewish Federation to Launch 2026 Campaign with Super Sunday Kickoff on September 7

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland is launching the 2026 Campaign for Jewish Needs on Sunday, September 7 with a Super Sunday Kickoff event for the entire community! The Campaign for Jewish Needs is the Cleveland Jewish community’s annual fundraising campaign that provides the critical dollars necessary to help keep our diverse, local community safe, strong, and welcoming, as well as serve the needs of the global Jewish community.
“Super Sunday Kickoff is our moment to come together as one vibrant Jewish community and show what it means to be ‘Here for Good,’” said Amir Jaffa, general Campaign chair at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. “Whether you’re making your own pledge or helping to reach out to others in the community to raise funds, we hope everyone will come out and enjoy the day with family and friends. Don’t miss this chance to be part of something truly impactful.”
This year, Super Sunday Kickoff attendees will:
- Join hundreds of community members to raise critical dollars for our community through the 2026 Campaign for Jewish Needs
- Participate in children’s activities and a community village that showcases the Campaign’s impact
- Enjoy kosher food and ice cream
Super Sunday Kickoff will take place from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday, September 7 at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Building (25701 Science Park Drive in Beachwood). Family activities will begin at 1 pm. Attendees can come to the event for a few hours or all day as their schedule allows. Event co-chairs are Allison Brandon of University Heights, and Arica Jacobson and Ryan Levine of Beachwood.
The Federation is the only organization in Cleveland that considers the needs of the Jewish community as a whole and plans for its future. 91 cents of each dollar donated goes directly to the community. The 2026 Campaign for Jewish Needs will conclude on December 10, 2025.
