We hope to see you at our April events. This month, we are hosting a community-wide run/walk to honor those killed or kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2023, a self-defense training from JFC Security, LLC, and more.
April 7
Ratzim Bishvilam
To honor those killed or kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2023, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland will host Ratzim Bishvilam (“Running for Them”). Participants will be provided with a name of a victim to honor during the run/walk at registration. This free, community-wide run/walk will begin with a brief program featuring Natalia Ben Zvi, whose son Sagiv was one of the innocent people killed by Hamas at the Nova Music Festival.
Gates Open: 8 am
Program Begins: 8:30 am
Run/walk (up to 2 miles): immediately following program

Gallery Open House and Curator Talk SEE ME Photographs by Michal Chelbin Curated by Matthew Garson
"SEE ME" explores the artist’s play on one's identity. Michal Chelbin’s photography attempts to capture human stories in everyday life; the identities of people not in the mainstream, many of them belonging to the edge of society and existing in the space between the odd and the ordinary. Her main themes are not social or topical, but collective and mythical; she searches for people who have a legendary quality in them.

PJ Library® Parent Support Series (Session 1)
PJ Library parents are invited to a two-part series with a behavior expert! Marnie Katz, founder of Epicenter ABA Therapy, will lead two sessions on understanding child behaviors from toddler tantrums to preschool meltdowns! During the sessions, we will learn why meltdowns happen and how to implement helpful tools to be successful in limiting them in the future. We will dive into managing triggers, power struggles, and behavior traps to support you in your journey.

CIAC Presents: Israeli Dance in the Current Climate with Choreographer Zohar Karny
Please join us for a conversation with Choreographer Zohar Karny, live via Zoom from Israel. CIAC advisory committee member Sara Hurand will lead a conversation about Karny's experience as a choreographer in Israel’s contemporary dance community. Karny will also share her artistic process and show examples of her current work.

Good Deeds Day
Join together to make a difference in our community as part of Good Deeds Day, a global day of volunteerism. Spend the day doing good deeds (mitzvot) and helping others throughout Jewish Cleveland and Greater Cleveland communities by selecting one of seven volunteer opportunities that will help feed the hungry, comfort the elderly, support populations at-risk, and more.
Times vary based on the volunteer opportunity you choose.
Volunteer at seven different social service organizations within the Jewish and general community.
