This month, we're welcoming summer with our 118th annual meeting, a do-good volunteer opportunity for all ages, an important community briefing on Ukraine, and more.


June 8
Community Briefing on Ukraine

We will hear from representatives from our overseas partners, Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), who are working on the ground to provide immediate assistance in the field, as well as helping immigrants find safety. This event will be moderated by Federation vice chair Daniel N. Zelman, who recently returned from the Poland/Ukraine border.

118th Annual Meeting of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland

Celebrate our community and what we've accomplished together. Featuring:

  • Rabbi Michael Schudrich, chief rabbi of Poland
  • Remarks by outgoing Board Chair J. David Heller
  • Presentation of the 2022 Charles Eisenman Award for Exceptional Civic Contributions to Reneé Chelm
  • Election of Federation trustees

Charitable Tax Seminar

The Charitable Tax Seminar, organized by the Federation's Professional Advisory Council, is designed for attorneys, accountants, and financial and insurance professionals who advise their clients on estate planning, tax, and charitable issues. This year's seminar features lots of new and thought-provoking sessions.

June Volunteer Drop-off: Kids' Summer Toys & Games Collection

Hop(scotch) on over to our summer outdoor collection of toys and games for kids such as bubbles, sidewalk chalk, balls, kites, jump ropes, boomerangs, corn hole, kiddie pools, and more. New items please.
