Volunteer Beit Shean 2015 - A Life-Changing Experience
Bill Jones is a consummate volunteer now that he retired from his profession in sales and marketing in the polymer chemistry industry. Always up for new adventures, Bill recently returned from the Federation's Volunteer Beit Shean 2-week program in Israel. Bill's interest in gardening led him to choose the Agriculture Track as his volunteer assignment and he was amazed with the high tech approach to farming in the Beit Shean region.
Back in Cleveland, Bill's passion at this time of year is supervising volunteers at the Hebrew Cultural Gardens where he shares a historical perspective of the garden as he leads individuals and families in maintaining the garden.
