Intrepid Traveler Shares Her Stories with Seniors
Senior citizens are travelling the world with Jaime Klausner without ever leaving home. Jaime is a young lawyer and world traveler, who volunteers her spare time engaging with the elderly about the world’s cities and sites, from Alaska and Australia to Panama and Peru. She gives monthly "travelogue" presentations at both Federation’s Community Options facilities and Jewish community housing, local retirement communities that promote independent living.
“I learn so much from the residents I meet,” Jaime said. “They have so many incredible stories and bring albums of their world travels from 50 years ago.
