Join your colleagues for an evening focused on raising awareness and appreciation for everyone we meet in our community relations work.

Heather Steranka-Petit of the YWCA of Greater Cleveland will lead a workshop exclusively for CRC and Subcommittee members to help develop cultural competency and manage unconscious bias.

Participants will:

• Learn about the relationship between culture and diversity and begin to examine how cultural values shape our attitudes and beliefs, including unconscious biases
• Explore and learn about the connections between privilege and unconscious bias
• Learn how to interrupt some of the patterns that form our biases
• Explore and uncover some personal biases
• Develop more self-awareness and skills as you become more culturally competent as individuals

Cost: $10/person

Dinner will be served
Kosher dietary laws observed
