YLDay of Caring: Done in a Day Project with Providence House

Description

Join YLD for a morning mitzvah at the Providence House* in Ohio City. YLD will be working on one of Providence House’s ‘Done in a Day Projects’ helping to beautify the campus and make it a great place for the children and families that visit. Following our volunteer efforts, Providence House staff will take us on a tour of the campus to learn about the facility and the services they provide.

Only 15 spots are available for volunteering, so register early!

ABOUT PROVIDENCE HOUSE: Since 1981, Providence House has been committed to keeping kids safe and families together. Offering emergency shelter and services to nearly 400 children newborn through twelve years old each year, Providence House protects at-risk children and supports families through crisis, strengthening communities to end child abuse and neglect. Our programs and services are designed to provide children safety and comfort in a home-like setting while we connect families to partner community organizations to stabilize family crisis, improve parenting skills, and ensure long-term self-sufficiency.
