WATCH: Filling the Food Gap for Cleveland Children During Winter Break
Since 2011, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland's Winter Break Lunch Program has served hundreds of students from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The last three years, it's been hosted at the May Dugan Center.
The program, organized through the Jewish Volunteer Network (JVN), fills the gap to serve children during their winter break who would normally receive a lunch at school. The food is provided by the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
Along with food, there are various games, activities, and entertainment each day, ranging from an animal show, a magic show, balloon art, and more.
