Meet Israel's Teen Leaders
In Beit Shean and the Valley of Springs, the Teenshinim program for high school students helps develop skills and leadership among the next generation in our sister communities in Israel.
Recently, the Teenshinim came to Cleveland to learn from the current ShinShinim about what it takes to become ShinShinim (Israeli emissaries) in the future.
"Being here is a big opportunity for us to learn more about what the ShinShin do, see the community in Cleveland, and realize how much love that we get here, said Shira, one of the TeenShinim.
"Seeing the youth from Israel coming to Cleveland and doing programs with our youth and knowing that these are long lasting relationships that will live for a lifetime is not only good for Beit Shean and the Valley of Springs, but also good for Jewish Cleveland," said Beit Shean Subcommittee Chair, Erv Pavlofsky.
