The Jewish Volunteer Network (JVN) has created efforts to support the people of Israel as well as older adults in Cleveland during this horrific time. The following calls to action are directly based upon feedback we have received from our partners both locally and overseas as to what they need from us now, many of which can be done from your home. We hope to see you at our October events! This month, our Young Leadership Division hosts its signature fundraising event of the year, volunteers can help pick apples for donation to the Cleveland Chesed Center, and our community is invited to view our art exhibit in the Roe Green Gallery.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland will once again kickoff its annual Campaign for Jewish Needs with a Super Sunday Kickoff event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 10.

The Cleveland and Israeli Jewish communities were well-represented at the 77th annual One World Day Aug. 27 in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens as the Greater Cleveland community came together in a showcase of its diversity.

We hope to see you at our June events! This month, our young adults are volunteering to clean up a local beach and getting together to celebrate summer, we are honoring Jewish and African-American activism, celebrating our Women IN Philanthropy donors, and more.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland held its annual spring cemetery cleanup May 21 as over 100 volunteers, including more than 30 students from Chaviva High School, spent two hours of their morning cleaning Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery in Cleveland.

We hope to see you at one of our many May events! This month, we're celebrating Yom Ha'atzmaut (Israel's Independence Day) with two community events, sprucing up a local Jewish cemetery's grounds, and recognizing Jewish Cleveland's accomplishments at our annual meeting.
