The Jewish Federation of Cleveland's Young Leadership Division (YLD) is seeking outstanding young Jewish Clevelanders to serve on the YLD Board. YLD engages and cultivates future leaders of the Cleveland Jewish Community. YLD Board members, ages 22-45, will have the opportunity to drive YLD activity in its three core areas of focus - engagement, leadership development and philanthropy. For nearly 10 years, Hillel at Kent State University and the AEPi fraternity have held a name-reading ceremony to commemorate Yom HaShoah. The 24-hour event is held on the campus of Kent State University; Jewish and non-Jewish students take turns reading the names of those who lost their life during the Holocaust.
