The Jewish Federation of Cleveland raised a record $34,023,524 in its 2022 annual Campaign for Jewish Needs.

The community raised $34,023,524 from 11,379 donors representing 8,398 gifts to help care for one another, prepare for the future, share our perspectives, and repair our world. Thanks to the generous support of our donors and dedicated volunteers, we are – and will continue to be – HERE FOR GOOD! These totals were shared at the virtual Campaign Closing Celebration on December 8.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division and Women IN Philanthropy joined together at Gathering For Good to celebrate the community, support the 2022 Campaign for Jewish Needs, and honor Shoshana Dessler Jacobs, this year’s recipient of the Irene Zehman Volunteer Award.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announced today that Shoshana Dessler Jacobs is the 2021 recipient of the Irene Zehman Volunteer Award. Each year, the Federation recognizes an unsung Jewish woman or group of women who demonstrate the highest ideals and practices of volunteer service on behalf of the Jewish and/or general community. Jacobs, who is the co-founder and executive director of Israel Medical Fund, a nonprofit supporting medical initiatives in Israel, will be honored at the Federation’s Gathering for Good event on December 1.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announced that Danielle Wild of Beachwood was awarded the 2021 Ruby Bass Challenge Award, the organization’s most prestigious award for women philanthropists. Wild was honored with the award at the Federation’s Women IN Philanthropy virtual Signature Event on May 27.
