The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Older Adult Task Force spent more than a year identifying priorities within Cleveland’s aging Jewish community and ways to provide support, releasing its findings in mid-April.

A warm and sunny Aug. 24 resulted in thousands making their way to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens to come together and celebrate the different backgrounds that make up Cleveland, regardless of contrasting viewpoints or political tensions, for the 79th annual One World Day.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland will host its 2026 Campaign For Jewish Needs Super Sunday Kickoff event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 7 at 25701 Science Park Drive, with new activities setting this year’s event apart from years past.

Members of the Tactical Medicine Division from the EMS Training & Disaster Preparedness Institute at University Hospitals visited the Jewish Federation of Cleveland on Aug. 11 to provide officers from JFC Security, LLC , the Federation’s security provider, with a hands-on training course, titled “Tactical Emergency Casualty Care,” on trauma care and bleeding control.

2024 will be remembered as a year of tremendous learning and growth for our community. In the face of numerous and significant challenges, we have adapted, evolved, and emerged a stronger and more engaged community. It was truly a remarkable year for Jewish Cleveland.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland is launching the 2026 Campaign for Jewish Needs on Sunday, September 7 with a Super Sunday Kickoff event for the entire community! The Campaign for Jewish Needs is the Cleveland Jewish community’s annual fundraising campaign that provides the critical dollars necessary to help keep our diverse, local community safe, strong, and welcoming, as well as serve the needs of the global Jewish community.

This summer, JFC Security, LLC – Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s security provider – introduced a new layer of protection at Mandel JCC’s Camp Wise through a cutting-edge drone security pilot program. Operated by JFC Security personnel, the tethered drone system is part of JFC Security’s ongoing effort to incorporate emerging technologies that can further enhance safety across community spaces.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s 2025–2026 allocation budget includes an additional $1.3 million in allocations compared to its 2024 budget of $33,145,329.
