The Horvitz YouthAbility Program of Jewish Family Service Association (JFSA), a Federation beneficiary agency, places interns at various businesses and organizations in our community. This internship program is made possible by an endowment gift by the Bobby Fund of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.

Coaching Circles offers women in Jewish Cleveland an open, motivating, and engaging process to foster personal growth and connect women across the community through meaningful conversations and peer-based coaching.

This month, we're inviting local college students to ice skate at Wade Oval, hosting a special magic show for PJ Library® kids and their grandparents, bringing together Jewish Cleveland young adults on the east side and west side at New-ish and Jew-ish, and more.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland and JFC Security, LLC hosted The Security Trustee training seminar Jan. 18 and Jan. 19 for synagogue leadership, schools, agencies, ushers and greeters, security officers and area law enforcement.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division (YLD) announced that Jonathon Nisenboum will succeed Ryan Levine as its board chair, effective January 2023. YLD connects Jewish young adults, ages 22 to 45, to each other and the community through social, volunteer, leadership, and philanthropic activities.

Bringing Israel to Cleveland: Our community is lucky to host community ShinShinim and Shlichim (Israeli emissaries). These young adults spend the year living in Cleveland, bringing Israeli life and culture to our community. Get to know our 2022-23 group below:

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland is currently seeking recommendations for the 2023 Board of Trustees, who will lead the work of the Federation.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland, in partnership with Anti-Defamation League (ADL), AJC Cleveland, Facing History and Ourselves, Mandel JCC, Kol Israel Foundation, Maltz Museum, and The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio will host SHINE A LIGHT on Antisemitism, a special menorah lighting for people of all faiths to renew a collective commitment to fighting the rapidly escalating modern-day antisemitism and Jew hatred.

To “Shine A Light on Antisemitism,” the Jewish Federation of Cleveland held a special Chanukah menorah lighting ceremony Dec. 20, with remarks from community leaders about the rise in antisemitism and the importance of standing together.
