Each year, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland recognizes extraordinary volunteers for the impact they make on our community.
"The most meaningful part of being in Israel has been learning who I am, where I come from, and why this beautiful country is crucial to my life."
We hope to see you at our upcoming events! During the month of August, we'll clean up one of our local Jewish cemetery grounds prior to the High Holy Days, learn about the acceleration of real estate technology during COVID-19, celebrate Elul with 30 days of inspiration, and more.
To celebrate Elul, we invite you to take part in the “Elul 30 Day Learning Challenge,” a Jewish community initiative beginning on August 8! All community members are welcome to participate and receive 30 days of curated content for daily inspiration.
The Jewish Federation of Cleveland saw an almost exact replica of last year’s recommended allocations of its campaign funds raised this year as the allocations committee sought to continue its support to agencies ravaged by COVID-19.
The Cleveland Israel Arts Connection was joined by Yaron Kohlberg, president of Piano Cleveland, and Nimrod David Pfeffer, conductor and pianist, to discuss this year’s competition and the chances for another Israeli medalist.
Applications are now open for the 2021-2022 Saltzman Youth Panel.
Help bridge the digital divide – the gap between those who can access the digital world and those who cannot.
BEERSHEBA, Israel -- While I moved to Israel two years ago, a big part of me will always be a Clevelander. It’s the part of me that wakes up at 2 a.m. for Browns games, the part that misses Mitchell’s hot fudge, and the part that still says “ope” when sliding past someone at the supermarket. I am just like you, but recently, my life has been nothing like yours.
We hope to see you at our upcoming events! During the month of July, we'll connect with Israeli performers in a virtual setting, volunteer with local organizations, celebrate nature with a family-friendly scavenger hunt, and more!
