Three years ago, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland launched a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) initiative in four communities in Israel, including Beit Shean, Cleveland's sister city.

The 2022 Campaign for Jewish Needs is officially in full swing. The Launch Event was held in-person and over Zoom.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland launched its 2022 Campaign for Jewish Needs in a virtual event Aug. 31, where stories from individuals detailing how the Federation and Jewish community have impacted them served as the key message.

Motivated by the unexpected success and learning points of last year’s campaign, Bradley A. Sherman is ready to kick off his second year heading the annual fundraiser that garners much-needed money for local, national and international Jewish organizations.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announced that Danielle Wild of Beachwood was awarded the 2021 Ruby Bass Challenge Award, the organization’s most prestigious award for women philanthropists. Wild was honored with the award at the Federation’s Women IN Philanthropy virtual Signature Event on May 27.

Smiles abounded at the virtual campaign closing for the 2021 Campaign for Jewish Needs as fundraisers in the Jewish community delivered a record-breaking grand total of $33,105,529.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announced that $33,105,529 has been raised by more than 12,000 donors representing 8,701 gifts in the 2021 Campaign for Jewish Needs, the annual fundraising campaign that serves Jewish Cleveland and the global community. Additionally, through a match opportunity from the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation, the community raised $1,000,000 for the Jewish Cleveland’s Coronavirus Emergency Relief Fund, contributing to a grand total of $15,416,989 toward this COVID relief effort to date. These totals were shared at the virtual Campaign Closing Celebration on December 9.
