What a night! Thank you to Jewish Clevelanders in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who joined us at the Big Event, YLD’s signature fundraising event of the year

Families are invited to celebrate giving at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and PJ Library® Young Families Tzedakah Party on Sunday, December 4 from 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Federation’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Building (25701 Science Park Drive, Beachwood). This free event is ideal for families with children 5 and under. Older siblings and grandparents are also welcome to join the fun.

The YLD Big Event is here, and the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division is gearing up for one awesome night, celebrating people in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s who make a difference in this community – November 19 at The Westin Cleveland Downtown.

The Young Leadership Division of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland will host its “Big Event” at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at The Westin Cleveland Downtown, where Jewish adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s are invited to eat, drink and enjoy the company of peers.

Something BIG is happening on Saturday, November 19! The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division (YLD) will host its fourth annual YLD Big Event, the signature fundraiser for young adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s in support of the 2017 Campaign for Jewish Needs. All are welcome to attend the event, which begins at 8:30 p.m. on November 19 at The Westin Cleveland Downtown (777 Saint Clair Avenue NE, Cleveland, OH 44114). A private reception for Ben-Gurion Society donors who commit a minimum gift of $1,000 to the Campaign will precede the event.

In 1996, when author and historian, Dr. Deborah E. Lipstadt, was sued by right wing extremist, David Irving for libel, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland was there to help cover expenses of defending the Holocaust in British court, alongside Jewish communities across the country.

Deborah E. Lipstadt, Jewish history professor and author, discussed her work and experiences battling a Holocaust denier in court, which inspired the new film “Denial,” Oct. 27 at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.
