This summer, JFC Security, LLC – Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s security provider – introduced a new layer of protection at Mandel JCC’s Camp Wise through a cutting-edge drone security pilot program. Operated by JFC Security personnel, the tethered drone system is part of JFC Security’s ongoing effort to incorporate emerging technologies that can further enhance safety across community spaces.

It’s a quiet morning in Moreland Hills as 92-year-old Marty Marcus gets out of bed and makes his way to the kitchen, where breakfast is already waiting — prepared by JFSA home caregiver Linda O’Neal.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s 2025–2026 allocation budget includes an additional $1.3 million in allocations compared to its 2024 budget of $33,145,329.

This weekend we commemorate Tisha B’Av (the 9th day of the month of Av). This day is when many of the very worst things happened to the Jewish people, including the fall of the Second Temple. We are reminded each year of the danger of hatred – and that our world (the Temple) was destroyed because of baseless hatred (sinat chinam).

At the forefront of Jeffrey J. Wild’s term as board chair of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland in Beachwood is the growing needs of Cleveland’s Jewish community, as well as continuing to combat antisemitism and support Jewish education.

For over 50 years, Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland has been working toward building its behavioral health programming to meet the mental health needs in Cleveland’s Jewish community.

Dr. David Rosenberg, a member of the executive board at Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland, is known for his persuasive touch—especially when it comes to rallying colleagues to help others. Just ask ophthalmologist Dr. Philip Goldberg, who now volunteers at Alyson’s Place Medical Clinic, a partnership between JFSA and MetroHealth.

In response to the historic rise in hatred targeting Jews, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland hosted its inaugural Education Leaders Summit—a gathering designed to educate and empower school leaders to better support the Jewish students in their schools. Held at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the March 2025 summit convened more than 100 participants, including superintendents, principals, heads of school, school board members and diversity professionals from over 50 public, private, and parochial schools across Northeast Ohio.
