The blurring of individual and locale – and their symbiosis – are central to “Israel: Land and Identity,” a provocative exhibition of 46 works in various media on view at the Roe Green Gallery in the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Building in Beachwood.

CLEVELAND – Jewish Cleveland young adults are invited to travel the world and apply for the Roslyn Z. Wolf Cleveland-JDC International Fellowship. The Jewish Federation of Cleveland, in partnership with the American Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), will select one applicant to participate with 25 other Jewish young adult fellows in an exceptional opportunity to spend one year abroad through a paid, individual global service opportunity.

CLEVELAND – On December 16, the Jewish Federation of Cleveland will celebrate the closing of the 2016 Campaign for Jewish Needs, the annual fundraising campaign that ensures our community’s vitality and vibrancy in the year ahead. The Campaign Closing Celebration takes place at 7 p.m. at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven, 6111 Landerhaven Drive in Mayfield Heights.

CLEVELAND – The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announces the opening of “Israel: Land & Identity,” an exhibit featuring the artworks from the Levin Collection in Jerusalem. All are invited to meet curator Emma Gashinsky at an Open House on Sunday, November 22 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Roe Green Gallery at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Building (25701 Science Park Drive in Cleveland). Curator Talks will be at 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

CLEVELAND – November is a time to give thanks. At the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and PJ Library’s Tzedakah Party, families with children 4 years and younger will celebrate giving, enjoy gratitude-themed arts and crafts, participate in interactive PJ Library® story times, and have an action-packed opportunity to give tzedakah. This free event takes place on Sunday, November 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Federation’s Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Building, 25701 Science Park Drive in Beachwood.

Something BIG is happening on Saturday, November 14! The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Young Leadership Division (YLD) will host its third annual YLD Big Event, the signature fundraiser for young adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s in support of the 2016 Campaign for Jewish Needs. The event begins at 8:30 p.m. on November 14 at the Cleveland Convention Center (300 Lakeside Ave. E., Cleveland).
