NetSuite Systems Administrator
About the NetSuite Systems Administrator position:
The Jewish Federation of Cleveland is performing its first multi-year transformation of their financial business systems. To help ensure the success of this investment, the Federation has created this new position – NetSuite Systems Administrator – to support the ongoing management of the technology stack that powers our robust financial operations. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s new Oracle NetSuite Finance system. The administrator will serve as the subject matter expert, providing technical support, training, and ongoing system improvements to align with organizational needs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Federation’s use of Oracle NetSuite.
- Respond to end-users’ requests for technical assistance and provide ongoing support to promote adoption.
- Develop, oversee, optimize, and administer workflows, custom fields, scripts, forms, roles, permissions, saved searches, dashboards, and reports to increase efficiency, security, and data visibility.
- Support data imports/exports and integrations with other JFC systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordination with NetSuite support as needed.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts, ensuring business continuity.
- Partner with finance to identify opportunities for system and process improvement and serve as the liaison to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-level issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configuration, processes, and procedures.
- Develop training materials and provide ongoing end-user training and support to ensure proper system usage.
- Provide support for other software applications used in the organization as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, finance, accounting, or relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Deep understanding of Oracle NetSuite software system modules, architecture, roles, workflows, functionality, processes, and customization capabilities.
- Understanding of core finance and accounting processes.
- Knowledge of data management, integrations, and ERP best practices.
- Proven ability and proficiency in NetSuite configurations including workflows, SuiteAnalytics, saved searches, and SuiteScript preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into system functionality.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously while consistently meeting short deadline situations.
- High attention to detail, follow-up, self-motivated, proactive, and solution minded.
