Jewish Federation of Cleveland Presents Adam Rosen with Top Young Leadership Award

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland announced that Adam Rosen has been awarded the 2024 Bennett and Donna Yanowitz Leadership Award, which recognizes and honors an outstanding young individual who has demonstrated commitment, involvement, and leadership within Cleveland’s Jewish community. He received the award at the Federation’s Board of Trustees meeting on April 22.
“It’s really special to be here today as a recipient of the Yanowitz Leadership Award,” Rosen said. “I will attempt to follow in the footsteps of some great friends and leaders in this community who have also received this award. Federation has a sterling reputation, both locally and nationally, to foster leadership and to do good. I hope I can carry on this great tradition. My commitment to the Jewish people is unwavering.”
Rosen, 39, has been an active leader in the Cleveland Jewish community in a variety of roles. He currently serves on the Federation’s Community Relations and Government Relations Committees and is a past participant of Rekindle, a fellowship that brings together emerging leaders from Black and Jewish communities. In 2017, as a recipient of the Federation’s Young Leadership Division Microgrant, Rosen organized a tour of the historic Fir Street Cemetery to help fellow young adults connect with the legacy of Jewish Cleveland’s earliest generations.
Beyond his involvement with the Federation, Rosen serves on the Board of Trustees of the Gordon Square Arts District – Cleveland Improvement Corporation and as vice chair of the National Leadership Council for the Jewish Democratic Council of America.
Rosen is a founder and partner of the law firm Trzaska Rosen Faller LLC. The Yanowitz Award has been given annually since the early 1960s. As recipient of the award, Rosen is invited to join the Cleveland delegation to a General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America.
