Participate in the Community-Wide Shabbat for Good
Shabbat for Good for the 2026 Campaign for Jewish Needs
November 21 - 23, 2025
Celebrate Shabbat for Good with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and synagogues across our community! Together, we’re striving to reach 613 pledges—one for each of the 613 mitzvot—during this special weekend of connection and purpose.
Take part in three meaningful activities throughout the weekend:
Participate in Shabbat
Shabbat has always been a time to pause, reflect, and reconnect — with one another, with our community, and with something greater than ourselves.
During Shabbat for Good, we’re inviting everyone in Jewish Cleveland to mark the day in their own meaningful way, while joining together in a shared moment of unity and purpose.
This can include:
- Welcoming Shabbat with candle lighting
- Gathering with friends or family for Shabbat dinner or lunch
- Taking time to rest, reflect, and step away from the hectic pace of the week
- Joining your synagogue’s services or community programs
However you celebrate, you’ll be part of a citywide Shabbat that reminds us of the power of community, and the difference we can make together.
