Remembering Donna Yanowitz
We are saddened to share the loss of Donna Yanowitz z"l, board life trustee and a passionate, devoted, and vibrant leader whose impact will be felt for generations.
Donna gave so much of herself to our community, serving in leadership roles with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, Gross Schechter Day School, the Hebrew Cultural Garden, and many other organizations. In 1996, she and her husband, Bennett z"l, created the Bennett and Donna Yanowitz Young Leadership Award, honoring young adults who demonstrate exceptional leadership and commitment to Federation — a reflection of the values they both held so dearly.
Our thoughts are with the entire Yanowitz family during this difficult time. May they be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and may Donna's memory be for a blessing.
