Remembering S. Lee Kohrman
We are saddened to share the loss of cherished community leader, philanthropist, and Federation Life Trustee, S. Lee Kohrman z"l.
Lee served in countless leadership roles in the Jewish and general community, including serving as president of the David and Inez Myers Foundation for more than two decades. Lee leaves an indelible imprint – whether at Jewish Federation of Cleveland, Mt. Sinai Health Foundation, Ethiopian National Project, BBYO, American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), or the other organizations in which he was involved. Lee was also the 2018 recipient of the Charles Eisenman Award, Federation's highest civic honor (view video below). He was a mentor and friend to so many, and he cared deeply for Cleveland, Israel, and the Jewish people.
Our thoughts are with the entire Kohrman family during this difficult time. May they be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and may Lee’s memory be for a blessing.
