About the exhibition: The visual arts in Israel are vibrant and varied. Artists employ different approaches and themes often based on a common cultural experience or are influenced by international trends. The works from local collections in Contemporary Visions of Israel illustrate the diversity and vitality of contemporary Israeli art. The exhibition includes artists’ reactions to October 7, representation of “The Land of Israel,” and the emergence of Israeli artists in the international art world.

Erica Hartman-Horvitz, MBS, AAA, co-chair Cleveland Israel Arts Connection, began her career as an art dealer, consultant, and principal of a contemporary art gallery. She holds the highest designations as senior certified appraiser, director of the Appraisers Association of America and accredited senior appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers.
