Join our community for Yom Hashoah V’Hagvurah, a commemoration of the Holocaust and heroism.
This year’s theme is the “80th Anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising”. We are honored to be joined by Dr. Irving Berkowitz, Holocaust educator and academic scholar. Dr. Berkowitz is the son of two Holocaust Survivors and a native of Cleveland Heights. He is emeritus dean of Academic Affairs at Palm Beach State College and a scholar of the Holocaust and contemporary antisemitism.
We will also remember the Holocaust with:
• Candle-lighting by Holocaust survivors and their families
• March of Generations
• Creative Arts Awards
• Procession of Holocaust-era Torah Scrolls
We must never forget.
