2019 Campaign for Jewish Needs Focuses on ‘The Impact of Together’

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland will launch the 2019 Campaign for Jewish Needs on Wednesday, August 29 at a special event that will be open to the public that evening at 7:00 pm at the Mandel JCC Stonehill Auditorium (26001 S. Woodland Road in Beachwood). The Campaign for Jewish Needs is the Federation’s annual fundraising campaign that serves Clevelanders from our local and global Jewish community.

Led by General Campaign Chair Jeff Wild, this year’s campaign theme is “The Impact of Together,” which demonstrates our community’s strength when we work with one another.

“I am honored to serve as the next Campaign Chair and give back to my adopted hometown,” Wild said. “Through my work on the Federation’s Allocations Committee, and as a past Board President of Fuchs Mizrachi School, I’ve seen the meaningful difference each gift to the Federation makes to the health and vitality of Jewish Cleveland. Each and every dollar is critically important to driving innovative solutions for our local and global community. And they ensure we can respond quickly in times of crisis.”

The Campaign Launch Event draws more than 300 people annually. This year’s event will feature multiple interactive displays that celebrate the diversity of Jewish Cleveland, as well as provide insight into the innovative programs the community is supporting around the world. The event will also feature – for the first time – interviews between community members who are on the front lines of the critical work being done to keep Jewish Cleveland one of the most passionate and vibrant communities in the world.

The Federation is the only organization in Cleveland that considers the needs of the Jewish community as a whole and plans for its future. 91 cents of each dollar donated goes directly to the community. The 2019 Campaign for Jewish Needs will conclude on December 12, 2018.
