The issue of free speech on college campuses will be the focus of this year’s Sidney Z. Vincent Memorial Lecture on March 15.

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Community Relations Committee (CRC) held its third annual Tu B’Shevat Seder celebrating a shared Earth and the new year of the trees. It brought together more than 100 community members from many faiths and religions.

Thank you to Senator Sherrod Brown, Senator Rob Portman, Congresswoman Marcia Fudge and Congressman David Joyce (together with 15 of the 16 Ohio members of the House of Representatives) who have all agreed to co-sponsor resolutions in Congress that express opposition to the decision of the United States to abstain last month from United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 2334 and calling for it to be repealed or significantly altered.

A one-sided, anti-Israel resolution regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is being prepared for consideration by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

Ohio became the 14th state to pass anti-BDS legislation when Gov. John Kasich signed House Bill 476 into law Dec. 19.
